The Trust currently has the following job vacancy:

 

Early Years Temporary Posts and Bank Staff

Working hours: Some posts are fixed hours and others are flexible hours

Rate of pay: £9.43 an hour

The opening hours are 8-6 and hours will be based around busy periods and staff annual leave.

Work Location: Mainly at St Peter’s Nursery and King Edward Road Nursery but may be required to work across other Early Years settings within the West Somerset Academies Trust.

We are seeking to appoint self-motivated, caring and flexible early years practitioners to join our growing Nurseries. Temporary fixed term posts range from daily shifts 9-1 and 9-2 and Bank Staff posts include a range of shifts within the opening hours of 8-6 hours to cover staff training, sickness and annual leave. Successful applicants will be matched with appropriate hours. The roles are to work across the age ranges and to contribute to the development and recording of care and development. Applicants will work in kind and supportive teams and be required to provide excellent care for the children. The ability to play and talk to and with children is crucial alongside a willingness to work as a team.

St Peter’s Nursery Early Years Practitioner

Working hours: 40 hours, All year round.

Rate of pay: £9.43 an hour

The opening hours are 8-5 and hours will be based on either an early or late shift.

Work Location: Based at St Peter’s Nursery but may be required to work across all areas / locations of the West Somerset Academies Trust.

We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, caring and experienced early years practitioner to join our Team at St Peter’s Nursery. The successful applicant will initially be based in either the Little Stars – baby room or Sunshine - toddler Room. Applicants will work in a kind and supportive team and be required to provide excellent care for the children in their care. A good understanding of child development is crucial alongside a willingness to work as a team.
